Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kixocollects, why, and how we protect it. We try to write it the way we'd want to read it — short and plain.

Effective May 1, 2026

1. What we collect

  • Account data — name, work email, organization. Used to create accounts and bill.
  • Customer data — product events and metadata you send to Kixo for analysis. You stay the controller.
  • Usage data — how the Kixo app and agent are used (pages, prompts, errors). Used to improve the product.
  • Cookies & similar — see the Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

To run the service, answer your questions, ship the actions you request through the agent, secure your account, communicate about changes and outages, and improve the product. We don't sell personal data.

3. AI and training

We do not use customer event data to train foundation models. The agent uses retrieval and grounded reasoning over your workspace to answer questions. Aggregated, de-identified usage signals may be used to improve the product surface.

4. Who we share with

  • Sub-processors — cloud infrastructure, observability, billing, and email vendors under data-processing agreements. A list is available on request.
  • Legal — when required by law, with notice where allowed.
  • Successor — in case of merger or acquisition, with notice.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise rights, write privacy@kixo.io. We respond according to the timelines required by applicable law.

6. Retention

Retention depends on workspace settings, operational backups, and legal requirements. Contact privacy@kixo.io for the retention and deletion process that applies to your account.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational controls to protect the service, including access controls and operator audit logging. Current security documentation and plan-specific controls are available from security@kixo.io.

8. International transfers

International transfers use the safeguards described in the applicable customer agreement and current sub-processor documentation. Contact privacy@kixo.io for details relevant to your workspace.

9. Children

Kixo is not intended for individuals under 16.

10. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
