The short answers.
What happens when I exceed a cap?
Kixo shows the projected bracket in Billing. A saved team payment method keeps the project running on the next fitting Growth bracket. Without one, the project pauses at its limit until billing is added.
What counts as an MAU?
Current usage is the number of distinct device IDs that sent at least one analytics event during the UTC calendar month. Identifying the same person on multiple devices does not currently merge those devices for billing.
What counts as an event?
Events accepted by the SDK analytics batch count toward the event bracket, including automatic and custom analytics events. Campaign-delivery records, replay segments, and screen captures use their own storage paths and are not added to this event counter.
How do AI credits work?
AI credits are shared by everyone on your team and power Kixo chat, analysis, dashboards, and campaign generation. They are separate from project MAU/events pricing, so a busy product does not automatically consume more team AI credits.
Which currency will I be billed in?
We auto-detect your country and show an explicit local price where one is published; otherwise the pricing page displays USD. The checkout summary shows the billing currency before you confirm payment.
Are prices inclusive of tax?
No. All listed prices exclude VAT, GST, sales tax and any other applicable taxes. Invoices add the right rate based on your billing address.
Can I run multiple projects on one plan?
Yes. Each project carries its own MAU/events bracket — they don't pool. Most teams keep their staging project on Free and put their production project on the right Growth bracket.
Where is my data stored?
The managed Kixo service currently runs in Google Cloud's us-central1 region. Contact sales before relying on a different residency or deployment model.
Security and data-processing documentation?
Security and contractual documentation changes over time. Write security@kixo.io for the controls and documents currently available for your plan before making a compliance commitment.
Refunds & cancellation?
Subscriptions are monthly today. For cancellation or a billing correction, contact billing@kixo.io; charges and any refunds follow your order form and the Terms of Service.
